Inspiring Hope and Transforming Lives Through Care and Education.
India is home to over 1.4 billion people, representing nearly one-fifth of the global population. Despite significant progress in recent years, millions of children and adults still lack access to quality education. Illiteracy and educational inequality remain major challenges, particularly within economically disadvantaged communities.
Although government schools offer free education, many children are unable to avail themselves of these opportunities. The primary obstacle is not a lack of schools, but the harsh reality of poverty.
A large segment of India's population resides in vulnerable communities and informal settlements, where families struggle to meet their daily needs. Due to a lack of clean water, sanitation, healthcare, and secure employment, mere survival becomes the top priority. In such circumstances, education often falls by the wayside.
Many children are forced to drop out of school to assist their families or to look after younger siblings while their parents go to work. Growing up in such conditions, they have limited exposure to opportunities beyond their immediate environment. Consequently, the cycle of poverty persists from one generation to the next.
We believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and build a better future. Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty, empowering individuals, and strengthening communities.
At Naya Aasman Foundation, we are committed to driving lasting change through education, care, and community support. Our mission is to improve literacy, promote equal learning opportunities, and equip children and adults with the knowledge and skills needed to build a bright, self-reliant future.
Together, we can create a society where every individual has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
